Leith Public Library

We had a walk via Warriston to Leith Library at the end of Ferry Road to pick up a book.

It's an impressive building outside and in.  The first stone was laid in 1929 and it opened in 1932 as the New Town Hall and library.  Bomb damage closed the library in 1941 and it was 1955 before it was restored and reopened.
