CHAMP CARS

As noted yesterday, it's Champ Car weekend at Road America, America's Nation Park of Speed.

Here we have a vintage Triumph coming out of Turn 14 ahead of another driver.  The most interesting thing about this car is the driver........he's 6'6" maybe 6'7" tall and how he gets into that machine is a mystery.  I'm pretty sure he's driving it from the back seat....at least his knees are somewhere around his chin while driving.

His wife is the co-pilot and 5' nothing....and they use the same bucket seat.  Explain that one to me!  Those seats are belted in and cannot be adjusted.
