A bit of fun! The Most Southerly Point.

An early lunch today at the Most Southerly point café.
We got all togged up in wet weather gear having watched the forecast earlier.
There were still a lot of people out and about being half term here, but only a few hardy souls who decided to do the circular walk from the café along the SW coastal cliff path.
It somehow felt quite exhilarating in the rain, walking the narrow path with the sea crashing and swirling below, breaking on the rocks like soap suds, before pouring back into foaming eddies. The views are still so beautiful even at this late stage of the season.
By the time we reached the car park once more a few more walkers were splashing their way through the puddles.
Our coats (very wet!) are drying in the utility room next to the boiler.
We did bring two coats each. One for longer walks and wet conditions.
The watery sun is putting in an appearance so we might even squeeze in a local walk after teatime. We also came with stout shoes as well as walking boots!
Photo of our lovely server at lunchtime, the café with some hardy souls sitting outside, and a view from the cliff path.
PS I expect you guessed how I altered the main photo!
