Wee Robbie #2

I sent robin out from the ark to see if the flooding had receded sufficiently to allow us to return to life as normal.  Within minutes it gave the all clear and was singing for joy just like a lintie.  It stopped for a moment to put  in a request for a fresh supply of mealworms, which I have responded to.

I really shouldn’t make light of the flooding that has caused so much disruption to many people’s lives especially along the east coast of Scotland and England.  We were very fortunate not to suffer any damage to out house or garden or any real inconvenience to our daily lives.  That there were no power cuts was a real bonus.

After three days spent indoors it was good to be out and about in the fresh air today and walking along the shoreline in the warm sunshine.
