The Future

Under the guise of offering 'a new home phone service for the next generation and beyond', BT are phasing out the analogue network and replacing it with a new Digital service they are calling 'Digital Voice' - It works through your broadband connection,
They say it gives an improved service and crystal-clear calls.  They switched us over 2 months ago and the service since then has not been good and, despite calls to BT's so called 'help lines' nothing has improved.  Out of frustration we have bought a new digital phone - it's now charging up - tomorrow it will be tested....
'Digital Voice' is mandatory - BT say the current outdated network will be switched off for all phone providers by 2025..........something to look forward to :-(
