A pair of pumpkin scarecrows, to satisfy the mono monday theme set by Laurie54 this week.

Met up with Greg, Gabby, the children and the dog over at Hitchin Lavender for a couple of hours today. As a lavender farm in the summer, it’s a lovely setting which we’ve enjoyed several times, once on a blipmeet some years ago.
As a half term themed pumpkin extravaganza full of kids, a little cold, a little muddy, hmm, you can see where I’m going with this….
It was however good to meet up, although once Jacob realised there wouldn’t actually be any carving of said pumpkins allowed he was less impressed and morphed into "I’m bored now".
Of course we did have the conversation with him about health and safety implications of hundreds of kids running around with knives carving pumpkins vs what could go wrong!!
