"Che"

I have a rather eclectic collection of little coins and scruffy old notes in a drawer of bits and bobs from a previous work life of extensive travel. This is one of my favourites, a 3 Pesos Cuban coin, with a rather formidable, albeit dashing Che Guevara on one side and the Cuban coat of arms on the other (in extra). 3 Pesos is worth about 10p GB or 12 cents US.  When I was in Havana some 22 years ago this coin had just been minted, a tribute to a controversial yet still revered hero in Cuba, an Argentine revolutionary, physician, author, diplomat and military theorist, among other things!
