Above And Beyond...

A40 Autumn

We were out at 8.15am to take granddaughter Amelia to school and it was really foggy but with limited time I wasn't able to stop and take a photograph of it. No sooner that was done we drove to Hereford to sort out a cycle issue and the hour drive from her school was very pleasant with the sun having burst through.

Whilst Mrs BB went for a swim this afternoon, I headed into Monmouth town along the A40, for a haircut,  and right on the border of Wales/England I took the aerial view of the stunning autumnal colours along the A40 facing North towards Ross on Wye which also shows the River Wye.

The extra is from the same spot looking towards Little Doward hillfort alongside the River Wye that we often cycle to the top for it's superb views.

Cardiff City FC play Huddersfield Town tonight so I'll be driving to the oldest son's house in Cwmbran to watch it with him. A win after Saturdays loss will be as nice as the autumnal colours!
