A fine pair for Mono Monday!

No pears or paring here but a pair of sorts in that they don't match exactly but they do belong together: on the left is the dish meant to contain sugar lumps and on the right, the cream or milk jug.  This shot clearly shows that although they have been regularly dusted, they haven't seen the silver polish for quite some time, although the discolouration does add some detail to the photo!
Today our friends D and A began their journey home to Australia.  We wish them safe travels and look forward to seeing them next year.
