Wasp on the ivy

Today I've been doing things at home.  The sun came out so it was very pleasant working in the garden. I did quite a few jobs including planting my winter pot by the front door.

I went for a walk around the village.  There's a big patch of ivy growing up the castle wall and it was covered with dozens of wasps. The buzzing was really loud.  Ivy is a useful source of food at this time of year.
