Star Magnolia

When Mrs Catspaw changed jobs in the early spring of this year, her erstwhile colleagues gave her some gardening tokens as part of her leaving present.

She chose to spend part of the gift on this Star Magnolia, Magnolia stellata, which is now coming into full flower in our garden.
