Celebrations

Yeovil’s players and fans enjoy wild celebrations  after Jake Hyde scored in the last minute of added time to seal a 2-0 victory against bitter rivals Weymouth in tonight’s local derby. Having scored in the 8th minute, we should have added at least a couple more by half time. The second half was a more even affair with a few nervy moments in our own penalty area so that late goal brought an outpouring of relief.

The game was most noteworthy for attracting a crowd of 6289, a new record for a National League South game and our biggest crowd for a few years.

Earlier, I was back on the golf course after last week away. Nothing had changed; in fact, I took exactly the same number of shots on both front and back nine as I did last time I played.
