Red Oranges

Being lovers of fruit, our household is mostly never without a few varieties.

Living close to the Langkloof, renowned for it's apples and pears, our shops' shelves always have a good variety to pick from.
Not to far away in the region of Kirkwood, where the climate is much drier and warmer, citrus and other varieties abound.

We are fortunate to live in a country with a climate favourable for the cultivation of lovely fruit and vegetables.

As it is the season for citrus, I was a little surprised at the almost bright orange/red tinge to this fruit: it comes from a new bag of oranges and unfortunately I have discarded the packing and label. Would have loved to know where it comes from.
Almost thought it was a grapefruit, at first.

Today I am priviledged to say 'hello' to a wonderful friend who started her day and her entry into the world of blip, in a healthy way!
