Museum, Luang Prabang

The  buildings in the UNESCO heritage area of Luang Prabang are what we came to see. This building houses the Prabang, a Buddha sculpture made in Sri Kanka sometime between the 1st and 9th century, venerated as the most sacred symbol in Laos. It is within the former Royal Palace, now a museum.
