From Ouse Bridge.

Today it was our monthly meeting of us oldies.  We met at a new cafe, Herdwick Willey's, part of a carvan park near Ouse Bridge.  This is the bridge that spans the River Derwent as it leaves Bassenthwaite Lake flowing towards Cockermouth and then Workington.  You can see what type of day it was, more cloud and i can't remember seeing the sun.  I hope the leaf colour goes some way to brighten the scene.
All of us were impressed with this cafe/bar and will no doubt return at some time.  Needless to say the sausage butty was good.  In the meantime I had a chat and was given a photography lesson too!
