I am tired, but happy : )

Today I went to the high school graduation where I have been tutoring math and it was the most moving ceremony. Ten young women graduated, some of whom already have children and/or have lost a parent and all of whom had dropped out of high school, but fortunately had the opportunity for a second chance at this alternative high school.

Later in the afternoon I went to an orientation session for a summer program where I will serve as a group facilitator for high school students.

I am tired because it was a long day, but grateful to have had these opportunities today.
