Pink Sunglasses . . . Miranda Lambert

This morning I photographed the pretty blossom on my neighbour Bevan's peach tree.  It is at his gate and he planted it there hoping people would help themselves to the fruit.  Everyone is too polite and the peaches stay on the tree.  It is a Sanguine Peach formerly known as a Black Boy Peach.  It is good for bottling but I find it a bit soft and prefer Golden Queens.
This afternoon Jen and I walked on Tahuna Beach.  In the extra it looks delightful but the fact there are no people in the shot tells you it was blowing a gale.  We walked fast and shouted to be heard.  Then we scurred across the road to Raglan Roast for a coffee.
