Lands' end in Oostende

Went another time to oostende visiting hte Fotobiennial. Certain galleries only open from friday on till sunday. There is a certain photographer "Kjetil Karlsen " from Norway , whom s work i liked a lot. The photographs are in b&w and lots of contrast sometimes grain and a bit of unsharp. But this was one of the best i have seen. The other gallerie showed a body of work by "Joel Witkin". I saw once an exposition in Paris , from witkin, but was not a huge fan. But now i understand from were it comes and can appreciate it at least. In his childhood something happened which give him a trauma. His body of work is a reflection of that trauma , maybe also therapy.
