Cathedral Grove

The largest tree in the park is the giant Douglas fir in the extra. It’s over 800 years old, 76 m tail and 9 m round. The leaning tower of Pisa with its 56 m is dwarfed by the size of the big tree.
The most impressive thing for me is that the Douglas fir was over 300 years old when Christopher Columbus came to North America in 1492.
A huge thank you to Chops13 who gave me the tip to stop here.
