Bobby

Bobby Charlton and Manchester United came to Torquay United to play a pre season friendly in 1972. We were there. Two Saturdays before was our wedding day.. I still have the programme - for the match, and the wedding. In those days Torquay played all their home games on Saturday nights.
Bobby Charlton was a remarkable player and person. I watched the documentary about his life this week. Very moving.
