Now, as I see it......

Warped washer selfie

We were first down to breakfast in the hotel and managed to get on the road by 7.30am.  At that time in the morning the roads were clear so with a short refuelling stop we were home by 12.30pm, with just under 1,000 miles driven since we left home.  Cornwall is lovely but since we moved to Norfolk it is a real trek to get there and back so we may not rush to visit again soon.

The afternoon has been spent mainly unpacking and doing the washing.  I nipped out to the supermarket in town to get a few things and bumped into the wonderfully indiscreet lady from the lettings agency that found us our temporary place when we moved here and is in charge of the letting a couple of doors away from us.  She told me that the previous tenant who I had asked to move an old car which was parked outside our house had left the property in an awful state and still owed rent, and that the new tenants were a married couple, both men, who have a couple of young children.  She said that she didn't yet know the full circumstances, "but I will!"
