as they fell

The leaves are just starting to turn here. This little group is just as they fell on to the top of a big bag of topsoil. I thought they looked nice with the woven backing. Warm colours of autumn. Another indoor day for me. I’ve cut out all the squares to make a big patchwork blanket - still using up bits of leftover fleece that aren’t big enough for anything else. So another freebie, and I know I’ve got some lovely cotton material in my stash for the backing.
