Two for the price of one ...

Originally known as Crosshill and Govanhill Burgh Halls. It stands on the boundary of the two burghs.  One half in Crosshill and the other in Govanhill. Separate entrances, courts etc for each.
This building dates from 1879. Designed by architect Frank Stirrat and is B listed.
It changed it's name to Dixon Hall shortly after it opened to honour the local iron foundry owner William Dixon. The foundry was known locally as Dixon's Blazes.
Dixon Hall is now home to the Dixon Community, a senior citizens' community and care centre.
