The birds

(pine siskins) and the birder (extra1) and the locale, South Fork (extra2) of the Little Colorado.

The local public library started a monthly meeting for people interested in learning about birds of which we have a great variety here in the White Mountains of Arizona. The meetings are held under the auspices of the local independent chapter of the  Audubon Society, ably hosted by Mary Williams. The mornings following the meetings Mary leads birding walks at local hot spots. This was the last walk here for the season and meetings will resume next spring.
