Forest Trails

About 10.45am we set off from home, for the fifteen minute drive, with our fiends and neighbours to Milkwall near Coleford in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire (England). It's one of the best places in the UK for off-road trail cycling and we're so lucky to have it on our doorstep. With the sun being out it was fairly busy.

We cycled to Dean Forest Cycle, Lydney, where we sat outside the cafe and enjoyed a cuppa in the sunshine before continuing our cycling towards Cinderford and back via Cannop Ponds to where we started. The total mileage being 21 miles.

The blipfoto is taken near Point Quarry, nr Coleford where I liked the autumnal colours and light through the trees, with Mrs BB and friend Jane infront of me.

We were back home by 3.30pm to power wash the cycles in the carport when it started to rain. Nice to make the most of the nice weather!
