Track Through the Poppies

Fifteen walkers met, and we were soon on a perfect walk down the true right of the Clutha River.  The weather was sunny and warm.  +22C.  The Californian poppies were at their blooming best!  walked just over 11K steps, or 8 k,s.  We had a welcome cuppa at a local cafe before heading for home.  A wonderful outing with good friends.
