A guest blip from Beck, there's not much about this photo I don't love...

I cooked my guests a Full English before I sent them on their ways, walked the dog, then made my way down to meet Beck from the station. Having read something of the mammoth setlists on his latest tour, we girded ourselves and headed out to see Lloyd Cole with a small amount of trepidation but we needn't have worried - it marched past in pretty good order and a culminatory twofer of 'Brand New Friend' and 'Forest Fire' were pretty much, ahem, incendiary...
