Another museum day...

...this time at Beamish...

So much to see! The main shows the Co-op, and in extras J&S inside, being shown the wooden ball system that took orders to the cashier.
We covered most of the areas - the 1950s town, the 1900s street where the Co-op is, the farm, the Pit Village and the mine - also in the main. We visited the 1820s Pockerly Hall and Church on our way back out, just for completeness...

We also enjoyed a tram ride round the full circuit ;)
Definitely a better day to visit - just a spot of drizzle now and again, unlike the torrential rain yesterday!
