In advance of Storm Ciarán

The weather forecast is not looking good later this week with the next "named" storm due to arrive with a particular feature the strength of wind gusts possibly up to 90 m.p.h in places. Some of the rose bushes have gone very leggy in producing what would be their third flush of flowers, so I've been cutting them well back managing to save a handful of blooms, while binning the remainder. Given the impending gloomy scenario it was really quite a pleasant day today; dry, warm in the sun, with a gentle breeze.
