Tulip tree at Claremont

Today we have been looking after our grandson as his school is still on half term but both parents have to work!

We took him to Claremont NT gardens and luckily there was no rain and actually some blue skies. The leaves of the tulip tree in the distance are now a  lovely yellow colour.

It was very busy there , particularly in the cafe, with lots of mums and babies/ toddlers!

We spent most of the afternoon at home and then went over to see the other grandchildren when they had finished school for tea. Popped into the party shop en route to buy a few sparklers for Bonfire Night and it was stuffed with so much Halloween stuff…who needs it?
