Another try!

I'm not entirely sure how much merit this Lino cut has, but I wasn't happy with the print I came back from Portugal with, so I thought I'd have another try.  My thinking here was to provide a solid background (not white) and put a darker print over it.  I'm not sure if it would have been better with black rather than a darker grey.

It was a lovey day here and I also cut the grass (after a fashion).  It was still very wet on there even later in the afternoon but as I knew the forecast was for a continuation of rain I simply had to cut it.  It's been warm and wet so the grass has been growing like mad.

The sun and breeze dried my weather beautifully.
