We took the 1450 flight to bali today. About 3.5 hours, same time zone... closer than Melbourne Brisbane or Sydney!

My first time in Indonesia, the traffic is crazy. I had heard this previously but it didn't prepare me for the experience. We took a taxi to ubud, about 1hr 15 drive, checked into our AirBnB, and then went for a very late dinner.

We just went to the easiest closest place (an Italian), we both had fish and both dishes were among the best fish dishes I've ever had, for the price of uber eats in perth.
