Wild strawberry

I've allowed this thing to grow in a pot it shares with another plant......I'm curious to see what it's like and what the 'fruit' is like.  I can't imagine for a minute it's very tasty, though the birds may enjoy them.  For me, I'm simply enjoying the extra splash of colour the yellow flowers and red fruit are providing.  I don't think I'll be letting in stay though - the rate of growth seems quite fast and I can imagine it might take over if given a chance.
