Buttermere

Another year older - but finally I qualify for my bus pass! (and state pension). We had planned a morning paddleboarding, but the weather changed from what was forecast to (another) breezy, mizzly day. So we took a lovely leisurely walk around Buttermere. This shot of Fleetwith Pike and Haystacks is a 4-shot stitched panorama, so of course will need to be viewed large.

I cooked a lovely steak with peppercorn sauce for dinner tonight (though our real celebration meal will be tomorrow evening at a rather special venue.
