Stratford-upon-Avon - Day 1

My mate Nicola (Bill) picked me up in Leeds and we had a slightly strange journey down to Warwickshire. There were lots of army vehicles on the motorway and then loads of unmarked police cars went flying past - bit unsettling. I kept checking the news to make sure nothing was kicking off anywhere.

We arrived in Stratford just at checking-in time so chilled at the hotel for a couple of hours before heading into the town for a wander and a few drinkies in some of our favourite pubs (Pen and Parchment, Dirty Duck and The One Elm). Added an extra - it went wrong but I like it anyway and it sums up the latter half of the evening quite well ;-)

The main Blip is a Shakespeare's Sonnets art installation in a empty shop. It looked lovely in daylight but even more special when it was lit up at night.

Back-blip
