This is Tuesday

Today we collected Violet from school where she proceeded to get ready for tonight.  This year she dressed as Wednesday Addams and helped to decorate the porch to show that we were friendly to  Trick or Treaters.  We didn't have as many callers as usual as the weather was off putting with frequent heavy showers and some very strong breezes but those who did call were beautifully costumed and the little ones accompanied by parents.
We had shepherd's pie for dinner at my Halloween themed dinner table and afterwards watched the Rocky Horror Picture Show (well, bits of it!).  In my youth I was lucky enough to see the original stage production with my dear friend T.
