Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie... Bikini

by Brian Hyland

The blip was taken at VIlla Romana Del Casale, a wonderful Roman villa. The mosaics and paintings on the floors and walls of the villa were preserved by a mudslide covering the villa with metres of mud/earth for more than a thousand years. Interestingly, the pictures give evidence of bikinis being used already 300 AD i.e. much before the 1940s. The extra gives further evidence of the awesome dynamic detail of the art work.  This is a back blip but I wanted to show also this despite being back in Finland with +0.3.

Long live Ukraine!
