Sweet Pickle

Tough day with my head at work and my heart in Jersey. Some terrible damage to buildings, trees, cars - but as far as I know very few casualties. J is fine but said it was incredible. House seems ok even though we are not far from where a tornado occurred. Yikes. Flights tomorrow are mostly sold out so I’ve booked for Saturday.

Writers’ meeting tonight (featuring literary thrall and apple cake) was a welcome distraction. Thank you for all your good wishes on yesterday’s blip.
