Number147

Friday

Hetty and I had a long walk this morning which included another gander around the cemetery.

This time I spotted Butch Hopkins, Paul Morris and Carly Heweson.

Paul was in the year above me at school. He liked a drink and was found dead in a caravan in his parents' garden.

Butch was a real character. He kept me entertained on a playgroup trip to Victoria Park in Bath. In fact, he kept the whole coach entertained. He was only 62 when he died the year before last.

Carly died on Prison bridge when the drunk driver of the car she was in drove too fast down the Bath Rd and landed in the canal. He served a 4 year sentence and was released this year.

We also walked up Quakers Walk and looped through town and home.

Seems everyone is up for the pub this evening.
