Sailor Returns

This sculpture is on the waterfront of Victoria, BC. Victoria is a major naval port for Canada and this sculpture commemorates the return of a sailor from a long cruise...meeting his daughter. I thought it an appropriate subject on US Flag Day.

Since I was only there during the day, it was difficult to capture the image the way that it deserves. I'll keep working on it.
