A fungal foray

We were fortunate that we were not affected by Storm Ciaran, all we had was a bit of rain and a blustery wind.  Today the weather is beautiful.  I had an appointment at the optician this morning following which I went for a walk in Yewbarrow Wood.  The main picture is a brilliantly coloured Scarlet Wax-cap and the extra is, I think,  a row of rather battered but very large Peppery Milk-caps.
