Beech Avenue, Mote Park

A walk through the beech avenue in Mote Park never fails to impress whatever the season. The avenue has appeared on blip before of course; time for its autumn outing. Still plenty of leaves on the trees.

A very enjoyable day bearing in mind the continuing nagging pain in my hip. Voltarol has been applied, whether it is making a difference I’m not sure. More to be applied tonight.

Walking is not a problem, we did 8 miles in all today, into town this morning and to the Bearsted fireworks this being with no bother. Getting up from a chair and the first 5 steps are painful, after that it’s fine.

Productive visit to town getting stuff to take over to California for birthdays; we will be there for Madison’s first birthday. Bought Christmas cards too. River Medway was high, covering the riverside path although not as high yet as we saw it in 2000

Bearsted fireworks were very good, large crowd in attendance. See the extra.
