White Rose in November

I could hardly believe my eyes this morning when I spotted this white rose in flower and counted seven more buds on the plant. It isn't particularly sheltered there, any southerly wind whips straight through it and down the garden!  So I am going to add the SilSNov23 label to it in memory of Admirer.

I went into town this morning, as our local department store was having their Annual 40% Sale on. I have never seen them so busy. In fact I can't
remember seeing the Town as busy as it was this morning. I think people are already thinking of the festive holiday, afterall it is only seven weeks away!!!
