Wallace monument and Stirling castle from Dumyat

Dumyat is described as the fierce little cub of the Ochils. Not very high at 418m, particularly when you can drive up to about 200m to the car park area. Still a bit of huffing and puffing was involved. Lovely calm day though.
Met a couple of guys cleaning the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders regiment memorial ahead of Remembrance day next week. My great uncle died back in 1940 on the retreat to Dunkirk with that regiment. Turns out his father was captured at that time.
A couple of extras. One is a memorial to a Black Hole mathematician who spent time at Stirling University and liked to come up here. Nice solid marble swirly black hole design
