A Fine Day in a Fine City

Norwich is described as ‘A Fine City’, which indeed it is. M and I had a most enjoyable day, one of the highlights was a splendid lunch at the Assembly House, pictured above. We both enjoyed a cheese soufflé with smoked haddock and a chive sauce with a side of chips.

Our next treat was a performance of the play ‘Quiz’ at the Theatre Royal. It’s based on the trial where three people were charged with cheating on ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’. Rory Bremner was completely convincing as Chris Tarrant and all the roles played by Mark Benton were just brilliant. We really enjoyed it, as did the audience.

The weather wasn’t great, more rain today…but it certainly didn’t spoil our fab day out together.
