Simple portrait

Taken this afternoon while on a lovely walk near Mahee Island in Strangeford Lough, and it was nice to see the sun.  I don't often do portraits but I saw the opportunity beside a little bridge with the background stretching out into the distance which I knew I could blur the background and emphasise the subject.  So that was the plan with the lens wide open.  I am sticking with monochrome, but have included the colour version as an extra for comparison.
