Uncut Pages!

9°C  -  4 mph SSW Wind Speed  -  10 mph Gusts  -  Cloudy  -  Some Drizzle.  Reread some of Balzac's short stories today  -  old book with deckled edged pages published in 1904 by The Knickerbocker Press.  Can't remember when or where I first got the book but it probably originally had uncut pages  -  this happens when a book isn't fully trimmed before binding and the reader needs to cut the pages in order to read them. Of course, a short story volume would have all its pages cut open for reading.  On the other hand a boring philosophy book like the one I've blipped (Two Treatises on Local Government by John Locke) will have several pages uncut indicating unread pieces of the writing☻☻
