Hmmmm???

Is this a Purple Finch or a House Finch? The only thing I know for sure is that it is a male with that pretty red tint. I have captured both of these finches on my Audubon Bird ID app. 

Today was a peaceful day with lots of birds flying around in our backyard. There were big Flickers, small Bushtits, these midium-size Finches,  and more.
