Life after Burradoo, NSW

An unusual set

We had planned to do some walking at Malham Cove today but it proved to be too wet. It was time, anyway, for an 'at home' day tp catch up with correspondence and blips. When I went to photograph the view from the sitting room window (see extra) I spent some time being entertained by the chess set. We are staying in a converted barn on a working farm on the edge of the village of Laycock. The chess set is most appropriate. I can play chess but I had some difficulty distinguishing bwteen the bishop and the horse.
