The Lozarithm Lens

...After (Monday 6th November 2023)

Today was quite a busy one for me. I had a blood test at the surgery first thing before breakfast. Then the builders were back at eleven to complete the painting of the repaired walls that overlook next-door's property. They arrived just as I was driving off to Melksham to pick up a repair at the Cobbler's Bench and then on to the BMW-Mini dealership in Melksham to learn more of Buzz's tricks, including how to let it take over parallel-parking and do it for you; very impressive.

When I got back for lunch they were at an advanced stage, and an hour later the paintwork was complete and I was able to get pictures of the end result, taken from next-door's courtyard. It was interesting to see the rectangle of bricks where a window used to look out from my living room. That would probably have been bricked up when next-door's much newer building was built. The wall to the left is part of next-door's home. The extension to the right is a lobby leading to a new bathroom that were both added by me in the nineties to replace a grotty crumbling lean-to.
